I had the incredible opportunity to interview Casey Davidson of The Hello Someday Podcast. She is a Certified Professional Life Coach who also hosts a podcast for busy women ready to drink less + live more.
It was a pleasure to speak with Casey on this episode as living a sober life is something I have personally been curious about for quite some time and I know that some of my listeners may feel the same way. It was great to learn from Casey, from her insights to her recommendation, on how we can take that next step towards drinking less (or not at all).
Casey’s a Certified Professional Life Coach, the creator of The Sober Girl’s Guide to Quitting Drinking, and the host of The Hello Someday Podcast, the podcast for busy women ready to drink less + live more.
She’s a wife and mom who spent 20 years climbing the corporate ladder while holding on tightly to her love of red wine. Casey specializes in working with women with full calendars and overflowing to-do lists, who are doing all the things and then coming home and drinking to forget about all the things. She offers private one-on-one coaching and an on-demand sober coaching course to take you from Day 1 to Day 100 and beyond.
You can follow and connect with Casey on Facebook and Instagram.
You can listen to Casey’s Wine Mom Culture episode, which I reference in our conversation on The Hello Someday Podcast website.
I’m a fan of soda water and lime myself, but what we learned from Casey is that you don’t necessarily have to have a “child-friendly option”. Below are some of her alcohol-free recommendations:
Athletic Brewing Company Non-Alcoholic Beers
Run Wild and Upside Dawn are Casey’s favorites. You can save 20% off your first order online order with the code CASEYD20 at checkout.
Partake
Non-alcoholic beer.
Gruvi
Non-alcoholic beer, rosé and dry secco. Casey recommends the dry secco, but the bubbly rosé has caught my attention.
Casey’s free Sober Girl’s Guide to Quit Drinking includes 30 tips for the first 30 days of your journey towards the sober life.
If my conversation with Casey sparked curiosity about living a sober life, or like me you’ve thought about it and are ready to take the next step, check out her The Sobriety Starter Kit Course.
If you would like to speak with Casey for more information or on a one-on-one basis, feel free to connect with her at Hello Someday Coaching.
If you decide to take on the challenge of living an alcohol-free sober life, remember that your path may look very different than someone else’s. This is YOUR journey and it is not meant to be compared. In addition, it is important to surround yourself with people who support you and respect your personal choices.
