I had the pleasure of interviewing Janice Scholl of Money, Career & Motherhood podcast about speaking to children about money and personal finances. We tackle the importance of teaching kids about financial literacy from a young age, as well as the importance of having a good relationship with money so that we can pass down these lessons to our children. Janice has some great insights and tips that we can apply as parents so that our children are better prepared to handle their personal finances in a healthy way from an early age.
Janice Scholl has spent her entire career talking about money and business. Through her time as a commercial banker, consultant and mentor to budding entrepreneurs, she helped clients create solid business and financial strategies to help propel their business to success. While working with aspiring female entrepreneurs, Janice noticed that the same four themes kept repeating:
From these themes The Money, Career, & Motherhood Podcast was born. Now Janice spends her time helping mothers gain confidence and understanding about money, career, and business topics as they relate to motherhood and family – the way many women actually think about money. Janice loves helping mothers implement business and financial strategies within their families to help each family member thrive.

As I mentioned in the beginning of the episode, I was recently interviewed by Molly of Small But Mighty podcast. She is a young girl who hosts her very own podcast; by kids for kids. We discussed why parents may have a difficult time saying yes to their children and she had some interesting questions to ask me on the topic. You can listen to Episode 14 Power of Saying Yes on Spotify.
